the last summer spent in Copenhagen

As I had enough of solo travel to Egypt during my last trip, now I am back again in the group. This time, with these silly people that aren't just crazy but at times can be annoying too.

Meet them, from left: W | F | me | H

The trip to Copenhagen wasn't a last minute one (unlike any other trips), in fact it has been planned well even before I had my final exam. It just, it was supposed to be longer and more than a single country list however due to some constraints we had this one and cherish just as we could.

Thanks to H, who made plans, assisting on tickets purchase, mostly functioned as our banker-in-advance. Thanks to F too, who assisted on directions and being my girl partner throughout this trip. To W, who has been the bodyguard taking care of my steps during road-crossing coz boi I am that busy with my phone.

Back to this trip, where W and F were on another trip by their own beforehand, and weren't directly from Edinburgh we have promised to meet all in Copenhagen airport.

so here we go.

We had our Airbnb booked in Byhavn that is 20 minutes away from the airport. Therefore, we had to take taxi to reach the Airbnb. and here comes the fun fact as there aren't much of taxi other than Mercedes, that later left us such an impression this city hm... is somehow a rich city (kaching!)

We visited most of the tourist spots in a day, and that's pretty impressive coz we planned to have it all finished in two days. Therefore, we had the next day more relaxed... more time to spend... in the airport (lols!)

I think by sceneries, Copenhagen is somehow (less or more) similar with Amsterdam in terms of its town planning, colours, their mode of transportation, and the canals.

But to be honest I like Copenhagen more. Simply because it's less raining. haha!

We went to every part of the city by bicycle, thanks to this app (insert app) for making this bicycle rent-and-return much convenient. Like, you can check with your current location any bicycle to rent nearby you and get it return just anytime and anywhere. Everything was done online, and by apps.

And I guess, there comes the very (most vital) importance of having your smartphone on and with sufficient battery (tips!)

But of all good stories, there must be an unfortunate event (at least in my story) because I had my cardholder lost or misplaced somewhere. I realized it just the moment I wanted to pay to fishmonger and we were a bit lost of track of where we went therefore there wasn't much can be done.

I had my Identity card, student card, and visa card altogether lost. That was really unfortunate, but since I am leaving UK for good soon I guess I just need to be cool with that and not stressed out too. See, I'm cool.

Okay, till next time!
